Approach: From M6 Jct 21 take the B road heading northwards and parallel to the M6 until the roundabout junction with A574.  Turn right onto A574 towards Culcheth/Leigh and cross the M6.  Turn left at the 1st roundabout and travel through Birchwood, over M62, past HM Remand Centre, Risley and into Culcheth.  Pass Harrow Inn on the right, library on the left and at the end of the row of shops on the right, turn right into Charnock Road.
