Cheshire League Match Officials Association

The Cheshire League Match Officials Association (MOA) is organised by and for the officials of the league, with the support of both the Cheshire League referees officers.  The League sees the MOA as an important development tool for officials to improve standards of refereeing, to provide regular communication between officials and the league and also to provide a social network.

If you’re thinking about joining the Cheshire League as a referee or assistant referee, why not come to one of our MOA meetings and introduce yourself?  David Adamson (Hon. Referees Sec.) is usually present at most of the meetings.

The MOA meets every other month and organises top-class speakers for every meeting.

Meetings are held at the Swan pub ( http://www.brewersfayre.co.uk/locationfinder/detail.aspx?id=3532) in Bucklow Hill, Knutsford – an ideal venue for location, drinking and good food.

We aim to start meetings at 7.30pm although if you wish to join us for dinner beforehand we usually arrive at about 6.15pm – all are welcome.  Attendance costs £2 (to cover room hire and speaker expenses) with a voluntary £1 raffle at each meeting.
