Cheshire League Match Officials Association
The Cheshire League Match Officials
Association (MOA) is organised by and for the officials of the league, with the
support of both the Cheshire League referees officers. The League sees the MOA
as an important development tool for officials to improve standards of
refereeing, to provide regular communication between officials and the league
and also to provide a social network.
If youre thinking about joining the
Cheshire League as a referee or assistant referee, why not come to one of our
MOA meetings and introduce yourself? David Adamson (Hon. Referees Sec.) is
usually present at most of the meetings.
The MOA meets every other month and
organises top-class speakers for every meeting.

Meetings are held at the Swan pub (

Hill, Knutsford an ideal venue for location, drinking and good food.
We aim to start meetings at 7.30pm
although if you wish to join us for dinner beforehand we usually arrive at about
6.15pm all are welcome. Attendance costs £2 (to cover room hire and speaker
expenses) with a voluntary £1 raffle at each meeting.
