Clubs applying for membership are strictly vetted.  They must have grounds and changing facilities, which meet the stringent requirements laid down by the League’s Ground Vetting Committee.  They have to be of a sufficiently high playing standard and must also demonstrate financial soundness.  Players participating in the League’s Competitions can either be contract (professional) or non-contract (amateur).
