Development and progression
The Cheshire
Association Football League prides itself in having some of the
finest officials available in the North West today. We have a
rich history of developing officials of all ages to achieve
promotion to the best of their ability up the ladder.
Some of our previous officials have gone on to
many great achievements including seven who are active in
officiating on the Football League. In the next few years we
hope to be able to boast an individual who officiates on the Premier
League!
Geographically we have referees (and clubs)
from Lancashire all the way down to Staffordshire/Shropshire.
We run a development program tailored to every
individual referee which allows them to develop at a pace that’s
right for them. We welcome officials with ambitions to make it
to the highest level, as well as those who are happy with their
position on the ladder but want to officiate a better standard of
football and improve their officiating in the process.
As well as development and progression, our
fees are competitive for supply league football and our clubs have
every right to expect officials to be able to officiate at the
highest level.. In return we ask for a higher level of
professionalism, dedication and commitment than any other supply
league.
